Our Saint Nicholas Ladies Philoptochos Society is a women’s philanthropic organization dedicated to serving people who are in need. The Greek word “philoptochos” means “friends of the poor”, but it does not even begin to describe the many aspects of our organization. Our philanthropic works range from helping an individual or family pay a bill, to aiding victims of natural disasters across the country and globally.
Philoptochos is a band of volunteer women whose combined determination, commitment, and big hearts help those who need it most.
Philoptochos is compassion; it is love; it is strength.
