A breakfast traditionally hosted in honor of Saints Kosmas and Damianos, the Patron Saints of Philoptochos. The entire community of St. Nicholas is invited to a complimentary breakfast in the spirit of fellowship.
This very popular event is held at least three times a year. A variety of pastries and home baked goods are prepared by the ladies of the Philoptochos and sold at the church on Sunday, after 1st & 2nd liturgy.

One of the most beloved and well attended events in the St. Nicholas Community. During this breakfast, our Protopresbyter Father Paul Palesty cuts the traditional Vasilopita. This annual fundraiser benefits St. Basil’s Academy.
Every year the ladies of the Philoptochos gather on Holy Thursday to dye over 1,000 eggs for Pascha. The eggs are distributed to the congregation after the Resurrection and Agape services.
One of our largest fundraising events of the year featuring luxury designer prizes. Raffles are easily accessible to be purchased online and/or in person.
The Philoptochos sets-up and operates the Flea Market, with the help of volunteers, during our Community’s Annual Festival.
General Assembly Meetings are open to all Philoptochos members and the community. Informative presentations or activities follow at the conclusion of Philoptochos related business. Recent presentations included an evening with Chef Maria Loi, a paint night, an estate planning evening, a presentation on essential oils, AND MANY MORE.
